? Lap Scratch
|
? lap race. First person across the line wins. Can be any number of laps

? Lap Tempo
|
Tempo race is 2 points for first, 1 point for second every lap. Final lap is 5,3,2,1. Can be any number of laps

|
1 Mile
|
Roughly a 5 lap scratch race. We time this event. Typically a prime if the 1 mile record for a category is broken.

|
5 Mile
|
Roughly a 24 lap scratch race. We time this event. Typically a prime if the 5 mile record for a category is broken.
|
|
10 Mile
|
Roughly a 48 lap scratch race. We time this event. Typically a prime if the 10 mile record for a category is broken.
|
|
Chariot
|
Just over 1 lap, from a standing start! A full on sprint! First person across the line wins!
|
|
Handicap
|
In this event, riders will be staggered around the track for a standing start. The race will typically be 1k or 2k, but may be longer. Riders will be positioned around the track based on ability.

|
Keirin
|
For CVA Racing, the Keirin will be 5 Laps. For men, the motor will pull off with 2 laps to go. For women, the motor will pull off with 1.5 laps to go.

Madison
|
A 2 person team event. We may run a timed madison or a specific number of laps. Typically there are sprints every 10 laps, points awarded 5,3,2,1

Mini Points Race
|
This is a slightly shortened version of a points race, with sprints every 4 laps. It will range from 12-16 laps.

|
Miss & Out
|
The last rider across the line on each lap is pulled from the event. When only three riders remain, there is a neutral lap, then a 3 way sprint for the line.

|
Points Race
|
Sprints every 5 laps. Points awarded 5,3,21. 20 Points for taking a lap. Can be any number of laps divisible by 5.

|
Snowball
|
In this crazy points based event, 1 lap is awarded to the winner of the first lap, 2 points to the winner of the second lap. The points continue to go up with the laps. A 10 lap race would finish with 10 points on the last lap.

Sprints
|
We seed match sprints based upon a 3 lap scratch qualifier. The number of heats is dependent upon rider attendance.

|
Team Sprint
|
Three riders start together, from a standing start. The first rider does one lap, pulls off. The second rider does 2 laps, then pulls off. The third rider goes the full distance (1k). The fastest team wins.

2k Madison TT
|
Each team will ride 6 laps. Exchanges are allowed through the entire event. The team with the fastest time wins..
